FAQ's

What can I expect to see in my box?

Every month you can expect to receive a variety of quality sweets from well-known brands, following a general theme, ranging from jellies to rock candy to liquorice, plus anything and everything in-between.

How much does it cost?

Our sweet boxes start from as little as £9.99 a month and we also ship FREE within the UK. For delivery to N.Ireland, we offer a flat rate of £15.00.

What happens if I don’t like the sweets in my box?

While we try to provide only the tastiest of sweets, it’d be impossible to fit everyone’s individual taste. If you get something you don’t like, share it with friend who might!

What if I have a dietary requirement?

We are pleased to tell you that we can provide sweets that are Gluten free, Halal Approved, Sugar Free, Vegan and Vegetarian Friendly. Just let us know when you place your order.

I have allergies to nuts/dairy/eggs. Can I order a subscription Box?

As we provide a different mixture of sweets each month, we cannot guarantee our products to be 100% allergen free. If you do have allergies, please read the ingredients provided carefully. If you are unsure if a product contains allergens, we recommend you do not eat that product. Sweet Subscriptions will not be held responsible for any allergy related incidents with our products.

How do I buy just one box?

If you only want one box, you can always subscribe and cancel your subscription right after. This way you’ll be charged for the first month, get your box, and won’t be billed the following month. Or you can head over to our Shop where we have a large variety of gift boxes to choose from.

Can I buy a subscription as a gift?

Yes you can - in fact we encourage it! Just tell us the recipients name and address and don't forget your message. Their box will include a card with your message inside. Please note gift subscriptions will auto renew at the end of the term. More sweet gift boxes can be found in our shop.

When am I charged?

You will be charged for your first month upon sign-up and then on a recurring basis on the 5th of each month.

When is the ‘cut-off’ date to subscribe?

If you sign up on or before the 15th, you will get your first box that month. If you sign up after the 15th, your first box will be shipped the following month. Can’t remember when you signed up? You can find out through your my account page under “Recent Orders”.

Do I need to renew my subscription every month?

No! You will be automatically re-billed on the 5th of every month, until notified further.

When are the boxes shipped?

Every month we ship the boxes on the 25th of every month, and in most cases, boxes will arrive in 1-3 days, however we cannot guarantee delivery times. You will receive an email when your box has shipped. Our boxes are designed to fit in standard size UK letterboxes, however we cannot guarantee the box will fit through all letterboxes.

Do you ship outside of the UK?

Sorry but due to the nature of our products we no longer ship internationally. We offer free shipping within the UK and charge a flat rate of £15.00 to N. Ireland.

Some of my sweets were damaged or missing, what should I do?

If this does happen to you, please take a picture of your box and email us and let us know what happened. In most cases, we will resend you the damaged or missing item.

My box was shipped to the wrong address, what do I do?

Email us and let us know. Once the box is returned back to us, we will contact you and ask if we should ship it you at the correct address. If the box was sent to the wrong address through some fault of ours or the carrier, we will resend it to you at no charge. Otherwise, we charge a £5.00 reshipping fee.

How do I change my shipping address?

Log in to your account and click the “change address” button by your active subscription. Address changes must be in placed by the 15th end of the month to be effective for the same month.

How do I change my billing information?

To update your credit card, click the “Change Payment Method” button by your active subscription. If your latest payment failed, click the “pay” button instead, and enter your new credit card information on the checkout page. To update your billing address, click the “edit” button by your billing address.

Can I postpone my boxes if I'm away?

Amendments to orders can only be made before the 15th of the month. However, you can postpone the following box. If you're going away for a bit longer, you can always book a holiday on your account and we'll make sure your recurring deliveries are stopped while you're away.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept all major debit and credit cards.

What happens if my card is declined?

If your card is declined for one reason or another, you’ll have 24 hours to sort it out. Failed payments will be retried the next day. You can always reach out to us if you feel there’s an error or some mistake.

Are you secure?

We take security very seriously and subscribing is 100% safe. All payments are processed through a secure connection and we do not store any credit card details on our servers.

How do I cancel my subscription?

YLog in to your account and click the “cancel” button by your active subscription. If you already paid for a box that you did not yet receive, you will still receive the box normally. Please keep in mind that gift subscriptions are pre-paid and cannot be cancelled.

What is your refund policy?

All items purchased are final and non-refundable due to their perishable nature. Please do not attempt to return any merchandise as they will not be refunded. If you encounter any issues with your sweet items themselves, please contact us so we can make it right. Please see our terms & conditions for details.

SWEET SHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following conditions apply ONLY to purchases made from our our online shop.

- Payment for Sweet Gift Boxes will be taken at the time of order. If the payment method is declined, we will not prepare your box and will not deliver the gift. Confirmed orders are prepared within 48 Hours and are shipped with 5-7 days.

- Sweet Subscriptions cannot guarantee delivery dates but will try to honour them. Delivery times may increase if you do not live on the mainland UK. An order can be cancelled within 48hrs of placing your order. If you cancel during this time you will receive a full refund. After 48 hours your order cannot be cancelled and can only be returned if the order is incorrect or damaged. PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO SUBSCRIPTION BOXES.

- Due to the nature of our products, Sweet Subscriptions will not offer a refund on any of our boxes unless it is faulty or it is not as described.

- If you are dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund for the items, provided that you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unused, uneaten and intact. We will refuse returns where it is apparent that the product has been used or partially or completely consumed. We may also refuse a return if the product is damaged due to no fault of our own. For example: Damaged during delivery.

- Returns must be received back by us within 14 days of you receiving your order. If you need to return a product, please contact us at shop@sweetsubscriptions.co.uk to make us aware that we should be receiving a parcel from you soon. In the email please include your name, order number, why you need to return the product and if you would like a replacement or refund. We will email you when we have received the returned products.
